September 18 2013 – Minutes of meeting

Present: Liz Ciocea, Jane Giffin, Shirley Highfill, Gini Green, Iain Lawrence, Terry Hurst, Vicki McDonald, Janet Miklas, Nicki Westarp

  1. Regina Lorek (247-7842) gave a talk on using homeopathy when rescuing animals. She discussed the use of arnica for bruising and aconite for shock. The mixture should be one dropperful in a spray bottle of water. It needs to be sprayed on a mucous membrane but never in the eyes. Arnica should be used as often as possible. A good reference is “Alternative Treatment for Wildlife” by Jeff Letterman.
